Faux or Real- You decide

We wanted to take a moment to compliment a vendor we used for our recent wedding.  Back in April, when we were trying to finalize the date and venue, we discovered a company called Something Borrowed Blooms.  They are an on-line company that specializes in faux flowers for weddings.  Never did I consider getting faux flowers for the wedding, but when I researched the cost and the environmental impact, I had to chose faux flowers.  We are so glad we did!

This is the bridal bouquet I used. I chose a small one because my dress made a statement.

Something Borrowed Blooms offers so many options and collections.  We settled on the Nina Collection with soft pinks, burgundy’s and peach colors to compliment my dress.  The flowers were beautiful and real looking.  They arrived on our front porch in a few boxes, three days before the wedding.  We opened them immediately, both of us anxious to see them.  WE were delighted and very happy with the packaging and the product- the colors were vibrant and just as the website described.

Look at those colors! These are the centerpieces, they were in a beautiful rose gold vase.
This package contained the wrist corsages and the boutonnieres.
We also ordered two swags that we draped over the door leading to the courtyard where we had our champagne toast and on our head table.

We are still waiting for the final pictures of the wedding and when those show up we will post them right away.  Lots of people are checking the blog for updates.  The only pictures I have are from someone’s phone, we are looking forward to the professional pictures and video:)

If I had to do things over again, and order faux or real, I would order faux.  The ease of repackaging the flowers, taking them to FEDEX after the wedding (return labels were included), and the communication between me and the company was just perfect.  The quality of the flowers in the arrangements were real looking and the amount of money we saved by using faux was incredible.  WE highly recommend this company and this IS NOT a sponsored post.

They did offer a discount code:
