DAK Living- Dave and Karen exploring the world!

FYI : A site for the non-librarian to find “what to read next!”

Have you ever wondered where Librarians get ideas on what their next book choice might be? There is a great site that Librarians visit, and they vote on some of their favorite titles.

It’s named LibraryReads.org  LibraryReads is a monthly list of ten favorite new titles selected by library staff from around the country.

You don’t have to be a librarian or even work in the library to visit the site.  The site is geared toward anyone who uses the public library and either reads eBooks or borrows books, attends programming at the library or who might rely on library staff for book recommendations. There is also a newsletter you can subscribe to get the latest information about some of our favorite authors or titles.

To be able to nominate your favorite titles, you would have to work in a library setting…but the site offers so much more, you can get ideas of great titles that Librarians are promoting. You can even check out the archives tab to see what books have been suggested in the past.

Check out the site to see what books have made the 2021 list!
