Losing your best friend would be tragic under any circumstance, but losing her because YOU might have strangled her would be unforgivable. Twenty-five years ago, Maggie had a fight with her bestie, Eve, and it ended up with Eve dead. For many years Maggie has lived with guilt and fear that someone would find out. Just so happens-someone found out!  And there lies the basis for this quick-paced mystery that you will be drawn into and not let go till you find out the truth. From the beginning pages we know Eve Knox has been killed. What we don’t know is who killed her. Could it have been her twisted sister, the child-raping neighbor, her best friend or her abusive boyfriend. All characters are suspect. 

This book is a quick read and would make a terrific choice for a mystery book club.  With so many twists and turns it would surely keep the conversation going.
