We are DAK- Dave and Karen. As a Retired School Media Specialist, I needed something to do with all my creative energies…so began DAK Living. I usually write the posts and take the pictures, and Dave- being a very good side kick- is there with me on all my adventures. We are doing life the way we want- lots of fun, lots of love, and lots of laughter. We share a home together and have learned to compromise. Dave is a minimalist and I am a shopper. He hates clutter and I love pretty things around.
We both love to travel and have been blessed to visit so many wonderful places in the world. We exercise daily, usually running together or biking when the Michigan weather permits. We eat healthily and love to share newfound recipes. And finally, we love craft beer and Michigan does not disappoint! We have so many breweries here that there is always a good craft to choose from. So, follow along with us and we promise not to disappoint you. You may find a good book to read, a new place to travel, or even a new beer to try 🙂
