Costco rarely disappoints!

Recently, while shopping at Costco, I noticed these succulents! I was looking for a gift for my brother’s birthday and was so pleased to see these beauties- I had to get one for myself too! At only $20.00, I thought it was a bargain.

The succulents were in a mulched gray stone container. They are contained in a plastic black box that can easily come out of the stone container to be watered in the kitchen sink.

My brother was very happy with his gift and displayed his on his kitchen counter.

It’s hard to kill succulents so I am hoping they will last a long time. I put mine on display on the kitchen table along with some candles. I have been reading a lot and taking pictures of my books. I think it’s a nice background for the pictures.

Have you had success with finding just what you need at Costco? How about succulents? Did you see them at your local Costco? Have you read either of these two books?? I loved them both!

Facial wipes from Costco

Kind of off topic, especially for this blog- but I just wanted to shout-out how much I love these facial wipes. While shopping at Costco one day, I noticed these wipes- Ultra Mild Cleansing and Makeup Remover Towelettes for all skin types.

I have combination skin and am prone to breakouts and there are days when I’m just too damn tired to wash my face properly before going to bed. I hate break outs and that is what would happen if I didn’t wash off my makeup. So, I thought I would give them a try. I can’t tell you how amazing these little towelettes are! They are wet enough and large enough to get off all of my makeup. There is so much moisture in these towels that my entire face is clean and soft afterwards. I now go to bed feeling comforted that my pillow won’t be smudged with makeup residue and I won’t wake up with blemishes. Each box of wipes contains 4 – 30ct – recloseable flip-top lid packs and 2 – 15ct resealable travel packs. For a mere $11.99 per box, which is only $.08 per wipe, it’s a real bargain! The wipes contain cucumber, chamomile flower extract, and aloe. I have never broken out from them; in fact my skin is clearer because I use them each night and after I run. There is no rinsing needed, so you truly can go right to bed after you use them. I have been using them for 7 months already.

I gave Olivia one of the travel size packs to try and she also loved them. She communicated she liked how clean her face felt and that she didn’t break out from them. Give them a try, I promise you will love them 🙂
