Happy Monday!

Hope you had as wonderful of a weekend as we did!!
On Friday, I was so excited to see The Little Mermaid production from the Stagecrafters at the Baldwin Theater in Royal Oak. My friend Ann joined me and we had a wonderful time. We ate at the Town Tavern in downtown Royal Oak. We discussed so many topics over our three glasses of wine and delicious salads. The production did not disappoint either. The caliber of talent Royal Oak is able to tap into always amazes me. Do our eyes look a little glassy? Luckily, we only had to walk a block to get to the theater.

Saturday found Dave and me completing errands that we didn’t get done during the week… boring, but needed. At least we were together. On Sunday we spent the entire day in Lexington. Dave helped his friend Ross put together stairs at their cottage. I spent the day getting to know his wife, Sam, and now feel I have a new friend. They provided a wonderful barbecue and we enjoyed a few craft beers as well. The view from their cottage is spectacular.
