Hello all! A holiday week approaching and I can’t wait! This weekend we spent Friday on a bike for most of the day. We rode some pretty amazing trails here in southern Michigan logging in another 22 miles. At night we met some friends for dinner at a tap room and enjoyed a leisure meal with great craft beer. Saturday was spent waiting on new kitchen appliances that never showed 🙁 Best Buy said our delivery time was from 12-4. So we made sure to run in the morning and finish our chores early. And then we waited. Dave sat at his computer working on a slide presentation for work, I read most of the afternoon. By 3:30 we started to call Best Buy to ask where were the appliances. We were beginning to get frustrated because our whole day was shot. It wasn’t till 5:00 when someone from Best Buy called us and said the delivery would not be happening and could they come on Monday. Another day of sitting and waiting?? They will need to pay for this…more on this dilemma later.

Our date night this week was once again on Thursday. We ended up going to see Chantal Kreviazuk in Chatham, Ontario, Canada. She was amazing! If you don’t know who she is you should definitely Google her, she is very talented- her singing and piano playing are superb. My favorite song of her’s is Feels Like Home.
Ended up going to church on Sunday for a wonderful service on forgiveness. We love the young pastor at our church…so very inspirational. After church another long run, total running miles this week- 15 miles, and biking 22 miles. Not too bad considering the cold weather this weekend.
