Hello everyone! Wow, the holiday was spent with friends and family and we were wonderfully busy 🙂 Here is a recap of the happenings.
Our busy weekend began with celebrating at Lauren and Christopher’s house! We had a wonderful dinner and exchanged gifts. KJ was extremely excited to get a drum set from Auntie Livvy! He proceeded to entertain us the entire evening 🙂

After a moving church service, we enjoyed Christmas Eve with dear friends. Sandy and Jim prepared a delicious dinner and we spent hours sitting and talking around their beautiful table. Sandy’s house looked like Santa’s Wonderland! So many twinkling lights!
Christmas morning was spent with my brothers and their families. We have a large brunch and open gifts and reminisce about our Mom and Dad. We miss them so very much. Dave decorates his condo each year with some special decorations our Mom used.
After brunch, we headed back home to open gifts with the Bride-to-be and her fiance. Olivia and Zach are really enjoying their holiday together.
We kept moving right along to my brother Mike’s house to celebrate with the entire family. Santa always makes a stop by to surprise the kids!! That’s Zach behind the beard!

| Me and by brothers! Al, the one on the left of me, bought us all Lions hats so that when we watch the Lions games we can have part of our dad with us. He was a huge Lions fan. All of my brothers are very thoughtful that way. |
Monday was spend with our dear Melissa and her family. I used to babysit her, and then she babysat my daughters, and now she is a mom herself! We have a wonderful history and love to spend time with her especially during the holidays!
Her house is decorated so nicely. Dave and I snuck out last night to have some alone time. We ended up getting a beer (New Holland Brewery- Dragons’ Milk) and a sandwich at one of our favorite spots. Then ended up walking around shopping for Christmas decorations at Pottery Barn for next year. Found some great sale items.
