This was us on Friday morning! We sat and drank coffee and solved most of the worlds problems. 🙂 Nothing beats a lazy morning. On Friday afternoon the hot tub we have been waiting for finally arrived. We had arranged an electrician to be there also, but at the last minute he cancelled. So for now, we can only look at our hot tub, no soaking till the electrician shows up which should be later this week.
We recently checked out a new venue. Our friends are opening up a pop-up kitchen type of hang out in Armada. Sam, the chef, showed us around and we talked about setting up a future date with her as the chef and inviting our friends to stand around the kitchen and learn about a recipe she wants to try out on us. We would eat and drink and take home a printed copy of the recipe. Sounds like fun, and I think we have a good group of friends that would really enjoy the night out doing something a little different.
There are some beautiful details to the space and Ross has done all the work himself- he is not a carpenter, but his work is amazing.
This is the outside of the building- stills needs some work. Sam is next to me. Dave and I rode our bikes to Armada on the Macomb Orchard Trail. We were able to log another 34 miles of biking in. 🙂
We have been away for a few days and I somehow strayed from my cleanse. So, I am getting back on track this week and trying real hard to be committed. More on that later. How is your corner of the world looking?
Raining and cold in Michigan today. No running outside- which is tough because we have a 5K this weekend. On a lighter note-this weekend we should be able to relax in our new hot tub!!!
