Baby it’s Cold Outside! We got slammed yesterday with the white stuff. At least 10 inches has fallen on our driveway. I have shoveled three separate times now and still could go out and shovel more.

Nice to look at but not fun to drive in. All schools were closed today which meant I also got the day off! I spent my day cleaning and washing out the kitchen cupboards and organizing new pots and pans and dishes(an early Christmas gift from the girls). I am all set for entertaining!
We did get a chance to run in the snow yesterday and logged in another 3.5 miles. We both purchased these shoe treads last winter and we love them. They grip the snow so there is no chance of falling. They’re called cleats for running shoes. Costco had them last year for $10.00. Most running stores have them as well. Great investment if you like to run in the snow.

| You can see they fit right over your running shoe. See the imprint they make in the snow. There are medal pegs that help sturdy your foot in snow and ice. |
The rest of the weekend we chilled watching movies in the basement TV room. We started with DeadPool (so silly and very funny) and ended with 13 Hours (very sad what happened to the soldiers of Benghazi). Both movies were good and available for free at your Public Library. I never pay for movies or books when I can get them for free. If you don’t use your library- you are missing out. The library offers the latest DVD’s – why spend money on renting? I have saved hundreds of dollars by using my Public Library.
Off my lecture box-It was a nice weekend to relax a little before the hustle and bustle of the holiday. Hope you had an enjoyable weekend!
