Biking, running, sitting on bar stools…could life get much better? 🙂 This month we traveled to Grand Rapids, Traverse City, attended a few weddings and Dave retired!!!! Life as we know it will never be the same!
Grand Rapids is always a great get-a-way destination. The city has lots of bike trails and great restaurants and beer. We always plan on visiting our favorite brewery in Cedar Springs which is just a 40 mile bike ride from Grand Rapids. We love the German beer and blackened salmon pita!
Whenever we travel to Grand Rapids we stay at the JW Marriott. It’s a fantastic hotel with lots of amenities.
We also traveled to Saugatuck while we stayed in Grand Rapids. We ended up renting a Craig Cat, a little boat to tool around the lake.
We were also fortunate enough to visit Traverse city for a few days. While there, we sailed on a tall ship!
And finally, a new discovery. At Target the other day, I found this in the frozen department. I picked one up and loved it for dinner one night when Dave was out with a friend. It was easy to prepare and tasted delicious. I will get a few more and store them in the freezer for those nights when I just don’t feel like cooking.
