June Monthly Media 2021

We celebrated no masks wearing this month at the library!! It’s so nice to see patrons and fellow workers smiling. 🙂 I was able to read a few good books and watch a few good movies.  The book club read The House of Deep Water by Jeni McFarland.  The group gave the story mixed reviews but after we spent almost two-full hours discussing it, many members changed their minds and expressed maybe they judged it too harshly.  I also read The Last Thing to Burn by Will Dean.  This story was a page turner- I couldn’t put it down!

Amazing acting from Anthony Hopkins and the story is told through his eyes, as the one who is losing his memory.
Love anything Tom Hanks is in and this one does not disappoint.
Did not love this movie, although I was surprised because I usually love Russell Crowe movies. Not realistic and poor acting. Don't bother.
