These months are the best when working in the library! Sweets in the breakroom, coworkers smiling, Christmas decor hung and patrons on the hunt for a good Hallmark Christmas movie and we have plenty of those!
I hope you had a wonderful holiday with friends and family. We visited my brother’s house this year and had the best Thanksgiving meal with all of the fixings.
I managed to read two wonderful books this month. The first was All the Little Hopesby Leah Weiss. I also read Mercy Houseby Alena Dillon. I have already suggested both titles to many readers.
As far as Non-fiction goes, I managed another chapter in Keep Sharp by Sanjay Gupta. Remember, I read one chapter of this book each time I finish a fiction book. I should be done by March at this pace. 🙂
Movies, DVD’s, Streaming…
Can't think of a better way to spend an evening! This movie kept me on the edge of my seat. 🙂
Charlize Theron portrays a mother of three dealing with postpartum depression. I loved the acting although the material is dark.
Imagine the world coming to an end and you are chosen to be saved if you can make it to a bunker in Greenland. Good movie, kept my attention.
Listening to…
Brandi Carlile hit it out of the park with this song. Love it and it’s on replay constantly. You can check out her latest CD or stream it on Hoopla eMusic. Look for the title In these Silent Days.
All materials can be found in your public library!
