Being away from work is wonderful and weird.  I have never taken off so much time at one time, but I must admit I am enjoying myself!  I have devoted my days here on Jekyll Island to exercising and reading.  This month I read Department of Rare Books and Special Collections by Eva Jurczyk.   The Paris Apartment by Lucy Foley and I read Such a Fun Age by Kiley Reid. 

 

Non-fiction read this month:

 

This book became my bible while away. I took it to the gym with me everyday to work on different body parts. Lots of great information with plenty of pictures to guide you as you lift.
Up to chapter 6.

Television, streaming…

The hotel offered free HBO+. We watched and enjoyed John Adams with Paul Giamatti and Laura Linney
We are such fans of Idol. This season looks like it will be just as good as all of the others. 🙂
Television (HBO) could not get any better. We devoured Succession! Every evening we looked forward to a few episodes. We ended up finishing all of the seasons before we came home. 🙂
