Hi friends! Truth be told, it’s nice to get back to work today. We enjoyed a wonderfully long weekend, but I really missed my routine for some reason. I miss my time sitting at the Reference Desk. I can usually get some personal searching done and that is what I have done today. I emailed myself a list of bargains I found and then ordered them at lunch. I have already ordered quite a few sale items today and now I can finally say I am done Christmas shopping for this year!! Yup, all done.
That felt good to say! I hope you are enjoying the savings as much as I am. How was your Thanksgiving? We had lots of fun running the Turkey Trot in Detroit and then hanging out at Campus Martius for a little while. We got home in time for the Lions and I put the turkey breast in the oven for a 4:00 dinner. Dave’s brother came over and hung with us all afternoon and enjoyed the Thanksgiving meal as well.
Dave made his infamous sweet potatoes and I contributed with the stuffing, gravy, green beans with bacon, cranberry sauce and a Keto friendly Pumpkin Pie.

We shopped literally till we dropped on Friday. We hit the sales and had an amazing day! We couldn’t wait to get home and eat leftovers!!
The rest of the weekend was a blur. I know we ran 4 miles on Saturday, had dinner and drinks with friends on Saturday night and went to the health club on Sunday, but the rest of the weekend??…. we did binge watch many episodes of Shameless– we are so addicted to this series on Netflix. Maybe that’s why the weekend was a blur.
How as your weekend? Lots of shopping?
Here is what I ended up buying today…Anthropologie had 30% off the entire site so I picked up this dress for a June wedding. The dress is the Bryon Lars Carissima Sheath dress and I hope it looks just as good on me as it does on the model:) (Returned dress, it was cheap looking and stiff)
Also visited Amazon for some gifts for Dave and the grandchildren.
Finally, a sneak peak of the Christmas decorations in the laundry room and guest bath.
Happy Shopping friends!!
