As a follow-up to the Tattooist of Auschwitz, Heather Morris reveals a story of Cilka who survives Auschwitz, only to find herself being accused of helping the Nazis and sent to a gulag in Russia for a 15-year sentence. Cilka survives the harshness of the gulag by using her charms and wit and securing a position helping the malnourished in the hospital. An amazing story of survival and the kindness of strangers. Very hopeful and positive story.
