On July 18th, we gave Olivia and Zachary a baby shower. The theme was Little Cutie and all the party decorations were orange:)
Details:
- Sunday afternoon- 12:00-3:00
- We had the shower at Great Oaks Country Club in Rochester, Michigan. The attendance was 50 women and a few men. We ate a buffet style luncheon with delicious sandwiches, wraps and croissants, soup, and a variety of salads. Very Covid safe. We offered beverages from the bar and the wine that people raved about was this Moscato. – Castello Del Poggio.
- Desert was a cupcake tower, cookies and brownies.
- Decorations were simple: I bought the centerpiece flower pots on sale in June and nursed them till the shower. Balloon arch was made by one of Olivas’s very good friends. Baby boxes are from Amazon.
- Games included “Who knows the Mother and Father the Best” cards and “Guess the Baby’s Measurements” both from Amazon. If you type in Little Cutie shower games, you will find all of the games they offer. Prizes will be mailed later to the winner of the guessing game. Predictions are that Olivia is having a 10lb. baby!
- Parting gift was a hand soap from Bath and Body Works with a cute tag we also found on Amazon.
Olivia received such beautiful gifts. Just about everything she registered for. Now she is off making a nursery for her little girl. This is what she has done so far. The pouf, lamp and pillow are from World Market. The rug and table are from Target. Art work and curtains are from HomeGoods. I can’t wait to see the finished room and I can’t wait to meet my new granddaughter! 🙂
